Empty space filled in the vibrant cathedral quarter of Derby

FILL-IN KITCHEN DERBY

Working with the landlord we transformed this empty, sad looking 3,000 sq ft restaurant space, within a vibrant area of the city, into a mini (street) food hall.

The trio of indie street food brands we partnered with brought the space back to life with plenty passion and flavour.

In Jan 2023 we moved the set-up to a new, smaller empty space, making way for a new concept opening at the venue that summer.

VENDOR PARTNERS

The venue’s existing open kitchen allowed us to have three distinct sections for our complimenting vendor partners.

The existing pizza oven and some refrigeration equipment were also put to good use, avoiding waste.

Our indie street food partners were:

DABBAWALA
Authentic Mughlai cuisine straight from the streets of old Delhi.

MAKI KAZZO
Crazy good Japanese katsu bowls.

NEA PIZZA
Maria Manzo’s classic Neapolitan recipe wood fired pizza.
